1733: Acronis Group Server Fails to Manually Run Scheduled Task

When trying to manually run a group backup task scheduled in Acronis Backup Server, the task disappears from the list

This article applies to:

Symptoms

  1. Via Acronis True Image Management Console you connect to Acronis Group Server;
  2. In Acronis Group Server you schedule a new task to back up one or several machines;
  3. In the schedule wizard you set this task to run Manually later;
  4. When trying to manually run the task in the Scheduled Tasks window of Acronis Group Server, the task fails to start without any error message and disappears from the list. In the Acronis True Image Agent log on the machine that was supposed to be backed up the error message is:

Failed to process pair script

Cause

Issue in the product code.

Solution

Update to the latest build of Acronis True Image Echo. See Downloading the Latest Build of Acronis Software.
