Activation is required to run the product under Windows operating system

This article applies to:

• Acronis True Image HD (based on Acronis True Image Home 2009)
• Acronis True Image Quick Backup (based on Acronis True Image Home 2009)
• Acronis True Image Personal (based on Acronis True Image Home 2009)
• Acronis True Image Nonstop (based on Acronis True Image Home 2009)

Introduction

(!) The procedure is different for Acronis True Image Home 2010 OEM. See Acronis True Image Home 2010 OEM Activation.

Acronis True Image Home 2009 OEM is supplied by variety of hardware vendors. The product cannot be run under Windows until you activate it.

Solution

1. Run Acronis True Image OEM;
2. Click Get Activation Key button:



3. Once you are brought to the registration page at the official Acronis Web-site, you will need to log in to Your Account or create a new one;
4. After logging in you will need to enter Installation Serial Number of Acronis True Image OEM. This serial number is provided by manufacturer. Please contact your manufacturer if you do not have one:



5. Click Register;
6. Activation Key will be automatically registered to Your Account and emailed to you;
7. Use the key to activate Acronis True Image OEM and work in Windows.

Acronis True Image OEM has the following limitations when compared to Acronis True Image Home 2009:

• System state backup is not supported;
• Application backup is not supported;
• Data backup (selected files/folders) is not supported;
• Scheduling is not supported.
