This article provides detailed description of what an Acronis Maintenance and Priority Support license is and where to find it.

Introduction

For products purchased before March 2, 2009, the Acronis Maintenance and Priority Support (AMPS) license number is required to verify that you are eligible for the following options:

  • One year upgrade protection for the products you purchase the licenses for
  • Phone-based technical support
  • E-mail-based priority support
  • Web-based priority support

The Acronis Maintenance and Prioriry Support (AMPS) license number consists of 25 symbols split in 5 blocks:

  • XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Solution

There are several ways to find out where your Acronis Maintenance and Prioriry Support (AMPS) license is. This depends on the purchase place.

If the product was purchased from the Acronis on-line store.

  1. You may check your invoice or purchase confirmation letter that you received right after the purchase.

    The invoice and/or purchase confirmation letter contains all of your purchase information including the names of the purchased items along with their serial numbers. The AMPS license name starts with the Product name and ends with the word Maintenance (e.g: Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server]] Maintenance).

  2. You may click the following link to find your AMPS number:

    You will be prompted to enter one of the following:

    • Your E-mail address and the last five digits of your credit card;
    • Your order number and the password.

If the product was purchased from Acronis Sales Department.

  1. You may check your invoice or purchase confirmation letter that you received right after the purchase.

    The invoice (in PDF format) and/or purchase confirmation letter contains all of your purchase information including the names of the purchased items along with their serial numbers. The AMPS license name starts with the Product name and end with with the word Maintenance (e.g: Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server Maintenance).

  2. You may contact your sales representative directly.
  3. You may contact Sales Department at: +1 877 669-9749 (toll-free phone number) and ask them for assistance.

If the product was purchased from a certified Acronis reseller.

  1. You may check your invoice or purchase confirmation letter that you received right after the purchase.

    The invoice (in PDF format) and/or purchase confirmation letter contains all of your purchase information including the names of the purchased items along with their serial numbers. The AMPS license name starts with the Product name and ends with the word Maintenance (e.g: Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server Maintenance).

  2. You may contact your reseller directly.

More information

We recommend you to register your AMPS number(s) along with other Acronis products you have at your personal account. With AMPS registered, you will be able to use Acronis Live Chat Technical Support option. This will also allow you to retrieve the serial numbers anytime in case you lose your purchase confirmation E-mail.
