Acronis License Server Management Console and Acronis Snap Deploy Management Console will ask for credentials when connecting to local machine on Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7

This article applies to:

  • Acronis Snap Deploy 3 for PCs
  • Acronis Snap Deploy 3 for Servers
  • Windows Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Windows 7

Symptoms

  1. You install Acronis Snap Deploy 3 components on Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7;
  2. When you try to connect locally to Acronis License Server with Acronis License Server Management Console or to OS Deploy Server with Acronis Snap Deploy Management Console, system asks you for user name and password:

Cause

Issue in the product. Connection to local machine should be performed automatically without prompting for credentials.

Solution

Provide Administrator credentials for connection.
