This is a false warning. This has been fixed

This article applies to:

• Acronis Backup & Recovery 10
• Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced

Symptoms

1. You have both Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced Agent and Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent installed on the same machine;
2. You run Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console and connect to Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Agent;
3. On the connection, you receive the following warning:

   Versions of the management console and agents differ,
   It is recommended to update the components to the latest version.

   

Cause

This is a known issue.

This is a false warning.

Solution

This has been fixed and the fix is available in the latest build of the product. See Installation of the Latest Update of an Acronis Product.
