Make sure that you installed a fully functional version of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 as opposed to the online backup only

Symptoms
You install Acronis Backup & Recovery 10;
You create a backup plan or backup policy;
In Where to backup -> Archive all backup locations, except for Online backup storage , are grayed out:

Backup policy
Cause
The installed version of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is for online backup only. See Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Online .
To verify that the installed version is for online backup only, go to Help -> About . If version description contains words for online backup , this means that the product is installed for online backup only and backup is only possible to Online backup storage :

Solution
If you have licenses for Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, you need to activate the product to have access to full functionality.
Activating full version: Standalone
Run Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Standalone installation file and select Install Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 ;
If you accept the license agreement, click I accept this agreement and Next ;
On the Enter the license key page, enter the license key for your Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (Standalone), then click Next;
On the next page, select Apply the license key and quit the Setup and click Next:
Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (Standalone) will be activated and full functionality will be enabled.
Activating full version: Advanced
Install Acronis License Server if it is not installed yet: run the product installation file, click Install Acronis License Server and follow the wizard instructions;
Add product licenses to Acronis License Server. See Using Acronis License Server for more information;
Run Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Management Console and connect to the machine where you want to enable full product functionality. Go to Help -> Change license.
In IP/Name field type the name or IP address of Acronis License Server or press Browse and select Acronis License Server on the network, then press Display editions :
The program will display a license that can be used for this machine (including Acronis Universal Restore and Deduplication, if you have necessary licenses on the Acronis License Server):
Select the type of license that you want to attribute to this machine and press OK :
To check if the license was applied correctly, go to Help -> About . License description should not contain for online backup :
