You can start an Acronis product from a USB flash drive, if the USB flash drive is formatted as removable media

Any of the listed Acronis products can be run on a bare-metal or unbootable computer. To do this, it is necessary to create Acronis Bootable Media. A USB flash card can be used for the purpose.
