Acronis productd can back up and restore physical nodes

This article applies to:

  • Acronis True Image 9.1
  • Acronis True Image Echo
  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 10
  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 11

Description

Acronis products can not back up the virtual server itself but can back up and restore physical nodes as usual Windows servers. If the iSCSI/fiber disk is managed by the node that is backed up, then Acronis product will back up this disk. If this disk is offline, the product will not find it and will not back this disk up.

Thus, Acronis products can back up nodes and virtual storage resources and there is no need to do any additional steps to back up a node within the cluster.
