Create backup in a different location

This article applies to:

• Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange
• Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange SBS
• Acronis Recovery for MS SQL Server

Symptoms

1. You install Acronis Storage Node and create a centralized vault. Centralized and personal vaults are visible and accessible in Acronis Backup & Recovery 10;
2. Storage Node and vaults are not available in Backup Location Selection in Backup wizard of Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange or Acronis Recovery for MS SQL Server:

   

Cause

This is by design.

Under Acronis True Image Echo it was possible to save the backup to Acronis Backup Server. The possibility to store Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange or Acronis Recovery for MS SQL Server backups in vaults has not been implemented in Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.

Solution

Select a location for backups from the list of available locations.

(!) It is not recommended to save Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange or Acronis Recovery for MS SQL Server backups in the same folder where Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 backups are stored.
