Install Acronis True Image Home 2011 Build 6868, then install Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack Build 6868

Introduction

Acronis Plus Pack is a separate purchased add-on for Acronis True Image Home 2011. See Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack.

This article describes how to install Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack Build 6868, which is the latest available build.

Solution

1. Make sure you have Acronis True Image Home 2011 Build 6868 installed as described in Acronis True Image Home 2011: Updating to Build 6868.

   (!) Rebooting the machine immediately after installation of Acronis True Image Home 2011 Build 6868 is optional, since you are going to install Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868. You may choose to reboot the machine only once - after the installation of Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868.

2. Download Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868 automatically or manually:
   Downloading the latest build automatically:

   1. Start the product and in the main screen click Help -> Check for updates:

      

   2. The product will check the online server and download the new build:

      

      

      

      Once downloaded, please proceed as described in the Solution section of this article.

   Once you log into your account, locate Acronis True Image Home 2011 Plus Pack Build 6868 and download it:

   

3. Install Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868:
   Installation of Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868:

   Run the Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868 installation package and click Install Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2011:

   

   Click Proceed:

   

   Since you are installing an update over a previous build of the product, you will not be asked to enter the serial number. The serial number is already registered in the system.

   Acronis Plus Pack Build 6868 will then install:

   

   

   You may be asked to reboot the machine to complete the update:

   

(!) Once the installation of the update is finished, recreate the Acronis Bootable Media to have an updated version of it.
