Creating an installation log of Acronis True Image Home 2011

Introduction
If there is an issue with installation of Acronis True Image Home 2011, the product will automatically create an MSI log.
Please send the log to Acronis Customer Central to troubleshoot the installation.
Solution
Creating the installation log automatically
If installation of Acronis True Image Home 2011 fails in Windows, it will automatically offer you to view the MSI log:
It is recommended to save the log (File -> Save as... ), so that you can send it to Acronis Customer Central with a support request.
Creating the installation log manually
There should not be an issue with the automatic creation of the MSI log. However, just in case, you can create the MSI log manually:
Start the installation package of Acronis True Image Home 2011, right-click on Install Acronis True Image Home and select Extract :
Save the AcronisTrueImage.msi file to your desktop:
Download ATIH2011MSILog.zip , and extract the batch file to your desktop:
Double click on the extracted ATIH2011MSILog.bat file to run it:
The batch file will run:
Acronis True Image Home 2011 will display that the installation has failed. Click Close :
The installation log will appear on the desktop:
Please ZIP the log and send it to Acronis Customer Central with a description of the issue and a reference to this article.
