1. Start the product and click Online Backup:

   

2. Put in your registration credentials:

   Proxy settings - If your computer is connected to the Internet using a proxy server, you can adjust the proxy server settings:

   

   • Host name - name or IP address of the proxy server, such as proxy.example.com or 192.168.0.1
   • Port - the proxy server's port, such as 80
   • User name and Password - credentials to connect to the proxy server

   If you do not know your proxy server settings, contact your network administrator or Internet service provider for assistance.

3. Click Log in;
4. Once logged in, name your computer that you are going to back up as it will be shown under your online backup account:

   

   You can also use an encryption key so that all the data you back up will be encrypted. If you choose to use encryption, you can only restore the data with the key.

5. Once you have accessed your account, you will have the following options available:

   

   • Data to back up - select files or folders to back up;
   • Schedule - schedule the backup;
   • Back Up Now or in one or several hours.

1. Connect to Acronis Online Backup as described in this article (above);
2. Select data to back up by clicking the blue link next to Data to back up:

   

3. Click the blue link next to Schedule:

   

4. Click Turn on:

   

5. Type in the credentials:

   

   These are the same username and password that you normally use to log into your computer. If you have a blank password, leave the password field blank.

6. Frequency - select whether to run the backup every day, week or month:

   

   Select whether to run the backup at a certain time, upon an event or with a certain periodicity (periodicity is available only for daily backup).

7. Click Advanced Settings:

   

   Here you can select to run the backup when the computer is idle, as well as when to run the backup that was missed due to the machine being down or lost Internet connection.

8. Click OK to schedule the backup task.

Recovering from Online Backup:

1. Connect to Acronis Online Backup as described in this article (above);
2. Select the data to recover and click Recover:

2. Select the computer to remove and click Options -> Remove from Online Storage:
