Description

E-mail backup is a subset of file-level backups that backs up predefined folders and requires minimum user selections.

Acronis True Image Home 2011 supports E-mail backup of the following clients:

• Microsoft Outlook 2000
• Microsoft Outlook 2002
• Microsoft Outlook 2003
• Microsoft Outlook 2007
• Microsoft Outlook 2010
• Microsoft Outlook Express
• Windows Mail (introduced in Windows Vista and superseded by Windows Live Mail)
• Windows Live Mail (see also Acronis True Image Home 2011: Backup of Windows Live Mail from Windows Live Essentials 2011 Works Only Through Pop)

More information

Acronis True Image Home 2011 provides backup of IMAP (Internet Messages Access Protocol) mail folders for Microsoft Outlook. This means that you can back up folders stored on a mail server. (!) For Microsoft Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail only backup of local E-mail folders is available; IMAP accounts managed by these e-mail clients will not be backed up.

Acronis True Image Home 2011 does not support Unicode characters in the items backed up using the E-mail backup type.
