Backing up disks and partitions

This article describes how to back up disks and partitions.

Solution
A disk backup is an image of the entire disk. A partition backup is a backup of a partition.
Creating a quick disk backup:
Start the application and click Disk and partition backup :
Click Switch to disk view :
Select the disk(s) to back up:
Click Back up now :
Creating a quick partition backup:
Start the application and click Disk and partition backup :
Select the partition(s) to back up:
Click Back up now :
Creating a disk or partition backup with options:
Start the application and click Disk and partition backup :
Select partitions to back up or switch to disk view to select disks to back up:
If necessary, you can exclude certain files or folders by clicking Add next to Exclusions :
This is where you can exclude from backing up hidden files, system files, or files matching your custom criteria.
Destination - select where to save the backup:
This is also where you can specify or customize the file name using variables:
To schedule backup creation, click Turn on next to Schedule :

To set the backup options click Disk backup options :

Click Back up now to immediately run the backup or click the down arrow to postpone the backup:
Select Later if you would like to manually start the backup later or if you have scheduled the backup and would like the product to automatically start it in due time:
