Symptoms
- You attempt to start your Dell machine from Acronis Bootable Media;
- After loading, the machine reboots.
Cause
This is an issue with Acronis Bootable Rescue Media on specific to Dell machines. This has been fixed.
Solution
For Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 and Acronis True Image Home 2011:
- Install the latest build of the product and recreate Acronis Bootable Media. See Installation of the Latest Update of an Acronis Product.
For Acronis True Image Home 2010:
- Contact Acronis Customer Central with a reference to this article;
- You will receive a link to download an ISO image that has the fix;
- Burn the downloaded ISO image to a disc. See Burning an ISO Image.
