Acronis OS Selector does not support dynamic disks

Description

Acronis OS Selector does not support dynamic disks.

An attempt to install Acronis OS Selector on a dynamic disk will result in the following message:

W000101F4: Acronis OS Selector has detected unsupported hard disk
drives. Acronis OS Selector does not support Windows Dynamic DIsks,
EZ-Drives, etc

Acronis OS Selector can only be installed on a basic disk.

Acronis OS Selector support for dynamic disks will not be implemented in Acronis Disk Director 11 Home.

You can use Windows Disk Management to see if you have basic or dynamic disks:

  1. Hit Start-Run and type in diskmgmt.msc

  2. Check whether the disk type is basic or dynamic:
