Introduction
A system information export lets Acronis Support Professionals have a better insight into the issue you may be experiencing.
In Windows, the information is collected using the AcronisInfo Utility , which is built in the product. For a complete list of the items collected, please see AcronisInfo Utility .
From Acronis Bootable Media, Acronis Linux Report is collected.
Solution
Generating system information report from Windows:
Run Acronis Disk Director 11 Home:
Click Help -> Collect system information :
The process will then start;
During the process there will appear a Windows System Information (Msinfo32) window, please close it:
(!) It is important that you do not close any other windows, otherwise the generation of system information will fail.
You may also see the following messages which can safely be ignored:
Failed to obtain the list of groups
Failed to generate the RSOP report
These are simply not applicable to your machine. Please ignore these messages.
At the end of the generation of the system information report you will be asked to save it. Please select one of your drives and save it there:
The name of the file will be SysinfoOutput.zip :
Generating system information report from Acronis Bootable Media:
(!) The system information output generated from Acronis Bootable Media can only be saved to a network share. For details, please see Acronis Disk Director 11 Home: An Attempt to Collect System Information from Acronis Bootable Media Fails with "The specified URI scheme is not supported"
Start Acronis Disk Director 11 Home:
Click Help -> Collect system information :
Type the folder path in the upper left field:
(!) Please make sure you type it in the upper left field. Otherwise you may get an error. For details, please see Acronis Disk Director 11 Home: An Attempt to Collect System Information from Acronis Bootable Media Fails with "The specified URI scheme is not supported"
Once typed, click the white-green right arrow:
You will then be prompted to enter access credentials:
Click OK to save the file SysinfoOutput.txt file.
